About Joline:

Hi! I'm Joline. I'm a Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator, and the owner of Sunrise Nutrition.

I specialized in rural, remote, and First Nations health during my internship, spending time in Northwestern Ontario, Sault Ste Marie and Manitoulin Island. During this time I focused on learning about the factors that influence health and how to support people in making positive changes in real life.

My Dietitian life brought my to the Yukon in 2018. Then in 2020, Sunrise Nutrition was born, and the rest is history! My passion for soaking up all things nutrition has never gone away. It is now paired with a love of working with people and their families to find joy in food and cooking, support health, promote independence, share culture, and add to their lives through food. I love what I do and can't wait to see what opportunities and people I get to work with next!

About Kamille:

Hello! I'm an experienced registered social worker dedicated to promoting emotional resilience and holistic well-being. Throughout my career, I've supported individuals facing diverse challenges, including abuse, mental health challenges, homelessness, addiction, and domestic violence. My approach involves facilitating support groups, providing counseling, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care. I foster a deep belief in the healing potential of emotional processing in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I've partnered with organizations like Tillicum Lelum Aboriginal Society to develop programs addressing systemic inequalities. My practice emphasizes person-centered and culturally responsive approaches,

leveraging techniques such as trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and CBT. I practice from a strengths-based perspective, recognizing each person's resilience and capacity for growth and self-actualization amidst challenges.

Fluent in French and English, I'm committed to serving diverse communities. Beyond my professional endeavors, I find joy in outdoor activities like hiking, nurture my passion for music, and engage in equine therapy projects, blending my love for horses with my commitment to helping vulnerable populations. Future goals include advancing in clinical social work and enhancing community-based mental health services.
