That’s a Wrap 2025
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
2025: A Year of Growth, Community, and Gentle Care
As we move through winter and reflect on the year behind us, I want to take a moment to acknowledge what 2025 has held for Sunrise Nutrition & Wellness — and to offer a sincere thank you to the community that made it possible.
This past year marked five years of Sunrise Nutrition & Wellness, a milestone that feels both grounding and humbling. What began as a small, values-driven practice (on evenings and weekends_ has grown into something shaped deeply by community, collaboration, and a shared commitment to caring for both body and mind in ways that feel realistic, compassionate, and sustainable.
Rooted in Community
In 2025, Sunrise Nutrition & Wellness delivered programming in five Yukon communities, working alongside local organizations to bring nutrition and mental health support into spaces where people already gather, connect, and live their lives.
Through collaborations with 10 community organizations, we were able to offer workshops and programs that reflected the needs, realities, and strengths of the people participating — whether that meant adapting content for seasonal rhythms, local food access, or the unique challenges of northern living.
Cooking, Nourishment, and Practical Support
Food remains one of the most tangible ways we care for ourselves and one another. This year included:
16 cooking classes and freezer meal workshops, focused on practical skills, flexibility, and reducing the everyday stress around feeding ourselves and our families. This also meant we sent home A LOT of food with families across our beautiful territory
A continued emphasis on meals that support energy, nourishment, and comfort — without rigid rules, guilt, or perfection
These sessions weren’t about “doing it right,” but about finding ways to make food feel more supportive and less overwhelming. The number one feedback I got from these classes this year was “meal prep doesn’t need to be difficult or complicated,” and I am so glad I can help to make this simple and realistic!
Integrating Nutrition and Mental Health
One of the most meaningful areas of growth this year was the continuation of Reclaiming Your Wellness, a combined nutrition and mental health program.
In 2025, we offered:
8 Reclaiming Your Wellness workshops, supporting participants in understanding the connection between nourishment, mental wellbeing, and nervous system care
Each session, run by Kamille and Joline, was shaped by the participants in the room. These workshops created space to talk openly about stress, burnout, emotional well-being, and the ways food, routine, rest, and support intersect in daily life.
Looking Ahead
As we look toward 2026, the focus is on continuing to build the Sunrise community — creating more opportunities for connection, collaboration, and care that feels accessible and grounded in real life.
Winter invites us to slow down, listen, and tend gently to what we need. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of Sunrise Nutrition & Wellness over the past five years — participants, collaborators, community partners, and those quietly supporting this work behind the scenes.
Thank you for being here, and for helping shape this next chapter.
With gratitude,
Joline
